• Description: Sierra Agape Center provides the following services on a donation or sliding fee basis to eastern Placer and Nevada County residents: Individual, couples and family therapy on a sliding fee or donation basis. Divorce mediation on a sliding fee basis beginning at $75.00 per session. Meditation or mindfulness training for groups or individuals. Meditation is a practice to assist clients in calming their minds and finding relief from anxiety, learning compassion for themselves and others, learning to respond skillfully to difficult situations rather than reacting, and learning to let go of unhealthy attachments. Free peer Counseling, Sierra Agape Center has a free peer counseling program for anyone who needs a person to listen, resource referral or advocacy. Arts in Wellness provides opportunities for anyone to find creative expression through painting.Susie Alexander provides guided exercises for clients to express what cannot always be put into language. She works with anyone who wishes to participate particularly those with chronic illness or pain.
